06Macro scenarios & risk framework

Built for different markets.

A 4-quadrant view of how the strategy behaves when conditions change. Behavior is rule-based — not improvised.

Scenario 01
Defensive

Market crash / volatility spikes

Volatility spikes widen arbitrage spreads — the book tilts toward relative-value trades while directional exposure is cut by rule, and the cash sleeve absorbs the shock.

Scenario 02
Participate

Extended bull market

Directional beta stays hedged while arbitrage sleeves harvest basis and cross-market spreads that persist in calm conditions. Hurdle logic keeps fees tied to new net highs.

Scenario 03
Selective

Deflationary stagnation

Directional regimes fade, but pricing inefficiencies don't. Arbitrage across FX, indices, commodities and metals carries the book while cash yields do quiet work.

Scenario 04
Preserve

Liquidity squeezes

Liquidity filters tighten before fills suffer. Arbitrage sizes scale down, position limits lock in, and capital preservation outranks return capture.

07Fee structure

Fees, with alignment in mind.

If we don't clear the hurdle, we don't take performance fees.

08Frequently asked questions

Asked often, answered plainly.

The essentials on minimums, fees, strategy and getting started.

What is the minimum starting investment?

The fund accepts a minimum starting investment of $1,000 USD. The calculator on this page compounds any amount you enter at the fund's 3.0% target monthly rate, net of fees, over six years.

How is Fast9 Capital compensated?

There is no management fee. Compensation is a 40% performance fee, charged only on returns above the 5% hurdle — the firm earns when its clients earn.

What does the fund actually trade?

A systematic, rules-based program built on delta neutral trades, statistical arbitrage and a dedicated risk sleeve, allocated 40 / 40 / 20. Every position is sized by rule, not by opinion.

Are the projected returns guaranteed?

No. Figures are illustrations of compounding, not forecasts. Trading carries risk, and neither past nor projected performance guarantees future results.
